Hi Gang:

I finally got my spa delivered and set up this past Thursday. It was late

late late Thursday night before the water was warm enough to use it but boy

when it did get warm, my butt was in it. I got in around midnight and

stayed in for about 30 to 45 minutes. I got out, dried off, got dressed,

towel dried my hair, didn't even shower because I had done that a few hours

before the spa warmed up. I slept so well and so long that night. I didn't

wake up the first time from pain!

My biggest fear now is running out of money before the room can be finished.

I am in the " short rows " financially, as they say here in my neck of the

woods. I don't know what I will do if I can't finish it. I still need the

exhaust vent put in, two power recepticles, a ceiling fan, a light, and the

room needs painting and the rest of the wall needs putting up along with a

window going in. The materials are pretty much all paid for such as the

window, the sheetrock/drywall, ceiling fan, lighting, exhaust vent, etc...

It is just the labor then the rest of the carpentry work.

Having this spa at home has really saved me. I can do things now that I

couldn't do before. I just don't know what I will do if I run out of money

and can't finish it.

I wish medicare and other insurance carriers would put one in every home of

every chronic pain patient. I think they would save a fortune in visits. I

have been able to reduce my breakthrough pain medication.

The only bad news I have had today is that my little one came home from

granny's with a stomach virus. Guess who will have it next? Her whininess

is really giving me a headache. She does it just for attention today. I

have learned over the last 7 years which is a real cry from pain and which

is one just for attention. She is only doing it when I am trying to tell

her granny on the phone what is going on or telling my mom to watch out for

it since she has two adopted kids in school not counting all her

grandchildren and my step-father's grandchildren.

Give me strength.

Sam, I don't think I've told this list that I'm going to a Chiropractor's

office to use an aqua massage machine for 20 minutes once a week. You don't

have to get undressed and you don't get wet. It feels wonderful but it only

does your back and sides. I'm hoping we can get some money together to put a

hot tub in our house this spring.

Maxine:

The spa is wonderful for joint pain. I have been in the spa every day since

Thursday and sometimes even two and three times a day. We have ran into a

snag though on ceiling fans. We can't find one short enough that is bathroom

approved/wetroom approved with a short enough blade width. ugh. I don't

know what to do now. I'm at a stumped point here. I'm calling the

electrician today to see what he thinks as to whether it is actually needed

considering we have the 300 cfm exhaust vent and a dehumidifier. The exaust

vent is not installed yet. But other than that, the room and the spa is

worth every dime.
