Guest guest
Trust Edith- Nobody ever wants to end up as I did in hospital, nobody knowing if I had permanent brain damage due to not eating, being so thin, then becoming ill. Thus leading to more weight loss..MD gave me a script for Biaxin XL (had NO idea I was allergic) an my memories, body, et al, drifted far away. There was a time when MD's almost had to put a feeding tube into me, but I fought back! I am a walking breathing miracle, had it not been for my inlaws, I would not be here today. If you like LIFE cereal eat it, if you eat healthy foods great, just so long as we all take very good care of ourselves. Lesson #1. YOU must put yourself first, or you will not be able to take care of those who need you the most (children)..... ~Kim PS. K. I can very much relate to what you wrote, and I will get to that after i stop my children from fighting, the little one just bit the older one..How's that for a twist.... Guest guest
AH HA! I hate nursing as well, at least when responsible for 20 patients a day...Dropped that like a hot potato, thought about med school, but my babies were my pride and joy =) I became involved in pain care and still follow up, but am not as active with it as I was (due to being sick+my children). I love the pain work as I have learned a lot and helped many. Thanks for the info =) ~Kim In a message dated 10/20/2004 4:29:29 PM Eastern Standard Time, eclecticandobscure@... writes: I hate nursing, but I hated the small business of selling herbs even more. Guest guest
I'm a nurse, but I didn't get interested in healthy food until my husband's rapidly deteriorating arthtitis (age 32) failed to respond to anything. I became a full-fledged snake oil salesman, with a doctorate in snake oil to boot. Made no money though. Most people just wanted to buy a panacea pill so that they could have their cake and eat it, too. I told them the truth, plus I didn't really think that anything I had to teach anyone was really worth paying for... I hate nursing, but I hated the small business of selling herbs even more. I lost more money than I made, but at least I got a good deal on supplements for myself. > > K, > > Good info, just wondering what your background is by way of education?
