Guest guest
For those of us who didn't watch the episode perhaps we could include in our correspondence that we don't have time to watch TV because we're busy caring for real live individuals damaged by vaccines and researching ways to help them recover. S -------------------------------------------------------------- Hope this isn't too late. ER tonight is covering the issue of measles and not vaccinating children. Channel 5 news will have coverage on the subject following the show. " What's done to children, they will do to society " . -- Orlando A. Battista " Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal. " -- Albert Camus " Every new adjustment is a crisis in self-esteem. " -- Hoffer " Nothing is impossible; some things just require more steps. " -- Author Unknown " Our children may not remember anything we have said to them as children, but they will NEVER forget how we made them feel. " -- Author Unknown " The events of childhood do not pass, but repeat themselves like seasons of the year. " Eleanor Farjeon " You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. " Kahlil Gilbran
Guest guest
IF you all write - he will stop giving his personal money, his many hours of time and efforts for Cure Autism Now. I am hurt from the show. I am hurt by what they said. My child is vaccine injured. Write NBC. Complain to your congress and senatorial representatives... vote with your money and turn off the TV. HECK organize and lobby DC! Just do not get these actors turned off on supporting OUR CAUSE. They are getting attention to autism. I do not think any actor could stop an ad sponsor. I have worked in Hollywood. With love, A Jeffs mom
Guest guest
--, I did e-mail NBC and added that I did not know how in good conscience they could do this to Mr. , knowing how much effort he puts into a cure for autism. Guest guest
Official Cure Autism Now Repsonse: I have spoken with who did not agree or endorse that storyline and was in fact distressed by the patronizing dismissal of family concerns about vaccine safety.Evidence of this is that Tony's, character, Dr.Green, did not participate in that story. The idea for the episode rests totally with Wells who is the executive producer and creator of the show and who basically gets to do what he wants. That he was influenced by his pediatrician, the American Academy of Pediatricians, the National Institute of Child Health, and vaccine manufacturers is possible and even likely but totally beyond Tony's sphere of influence. Guest guest
Thank you and CAN! Now I know who to direct my anger towards - JOHN WELLS - Executive Producer. Lets focus all our energy and emotion towards him. Something I found out through my inside Hollywood connections - they originally approached to play the role and deliver the speech about how there is no connection between vaccines and autism, however he refused. You will notice that his story line was not connected at all to the vaccine story line and that his character was getting screwed over - art immitating life? This episode was in development 6 months ago - and I am sure was a direct reaction to the publication of Dr Wakefield's work and the DAN conference. Remember - JOHN WELLS - I am working on my letter now. He is going to get an earful from me. Guest guest
Like a car accident, I couldn't stop myself from watching a few minutes. At least they didn't have a Prevnar commercial at the first break. I still can't believe that they wrote dialogue stating that Smallpox would come back if parents stopped vaccinating. Isn't there some sort of fact checking on that show? Smallpox is eradicated. We don't vaccinate for that anymore. How dare they try that kind of scare tactic. Heidi [ ] ER Episode I can't believe what I'm seeing!! They are replaying the contraversial vaccine episode of ER!! I was very angry the first time it aired, but after all the uproar it caused, it really pisses me off that they're doing it again. I guess it's time to write the station...again. =======================================================

Isn't there some sort of fact checking on that show? Smallpox is eradicated. We don't vaccinate for that anymore. This is an excellent factoid! Everyone remember this and practice telling it to every single person you can get to talk about the ER episode - that is the kind of factual error that can really make people wonder how much of the rest of what they saw is bogus. >How dare they try that kind of scare tactic. Size 9 ego in a size 5 soul. Or they're terrified they won't be able to afford a mercedes if nobody gets their kids vaccinated and they have to actually do work like treating sick patients instead of well ones at HMO rates. I guess I have a bad attitude tonight. :-/
