But I went to the doctor yesterday and got my final appt with the doctor. I got blood taken for my final test to see if I had reached SVR. My coodinator came in and said just wanted you to know that at 3 months you were Negative for the virus, and chances are that you still are. I was negative for the virus at 12 weeks. I call in two weeks to see if I still am. But truthful I must be honest, I do believe I am still negative. I feel better than I have in 10 years since this saga began. Probably better than I have felt in 15 years to be truthfull. Because 10 years ago is when the family first noticed something was wrong. But I believe it start much earlier.

I am going to college and I will graduate in July. Guys if I reach SVR, you guy that are thinking about treatment. Then the treatment I took is the way to go. Yeah I felt like crap for 48 weeks. But the outcome is so much better than I could imagine!!

I do indeed feel like a new woman.

I hadn't intended to say anything till I got that 6 months(after treament) test results, but could not contain myself. Because my doctor said that if I was neg. at 3 months after treatment then it was likely that I still am. Wish me luck when I call in two weeks. I have faith that all is good. I am one happy camper.

Love,

Janet

Oh, Janet! I'm doing the dance in my chair right now! That's exciting news for

you and all of us. Thanks for sharing and for helping others keep the faith

through the long tp struggle. It really is worth it and beats the hell out of a

transplant! (Though I'm really happy with my tp results, too!).
