Guest guest
This group has a Wiki and I think they're valuable tools to help organize a practice. But who has the time to setup a server to run the wiki?? Mindtouch to the rescue. They offer a free wiki with 100Mb of space and you can choose to either make it public, or private. I setup a free site yesterday, and just added one page http://synapse-emr.wik.is/Practice_Forms so I can store some commonly used forms that I use. You can get your own free account at http://www.wik.is/ If you wish to upgrade ... you can get 10Gbs of space for $99 per annum. PS: no disclosures. -- Graham Chiu http://www.synapsedirect.com Synapse - the use from anywhere EMR.
Guest guest
That's interesting. Anyone else with a wiki for their office?I'm finally getting my Brinkster webpage set for my office (will ask for feedback when it's up soon... and again later perhaps if I make changes/improvements). From what I'm reading, at Brinkster there are options to add on a wiki or even a blog. I didn't check details enough yet, so I don't know if those are extra charges. Anyone using those features from Brinkster? ( Clemensen, as the local " brinkster expert, " any thoughts are appreciated ... plus, any updates on how life is with the plans and move to Colorado?)Tim > On Sun, September 21, 2008 4:31 pm EDT, Graham Chiu wrote:> > > This group has a Wiki and I think they're valuable tools to help> organize a practice.> But who has the time to setup a server to run the wiki??> > Mindtouch to the rescue. Guest guest
A wiki can also be just a website too .. so one could use these free wiki sites to store patient registration forms etc. The wiki editing can be restricted to staff users. Patients would just have viewing rights, and you can hide pages from anonymous users ie. patients. > That's interesting.
