My menu for today:

M1: Power oatmeal

M2: cottage cheese, chopped apple & cinnamon

M3: Spicy Rice* & squash

M4: cottage cheese, yogurt & carrots

M5: grilled chicken, brown rice & broccoli

M6: Myoplex or protein powder & fruit

*This was very easy to make and worked well for my

non-BFL DH. I ate it per the recipe and I pulled out

tortillas which my DH stuffed with the spicy rice and

topped with sour cream and extra hot sauce. Of course

my kids hated it (too spicy) !

~Spicy Rice~~

Makes 2 servings

3/4 c. cooked brown rice

1/4 c. jarred salsa

3 oz. cooked lean ground beef

3 oz. fat free shredded cheddar cheese

In a bowl combine rice, salsa, and ground beef, mix

well. Divide between 2 containers and sprinkle 1 1/2

oz. of cheese on top of each. Heat in microwave until

hot. Makes 2 servings. Nutritional stats per serving

are;

Calories:220

Proteins:16g.

Carbs:20g.

Fats:8g.

This is a great leftover type meal.
