Guest guest Posted January 17, 2012 Report Share Posted January 17, 2012 Hi All, Rarely post as I just do alternative, but I received this news from a friend who has until now only done alternative. A close friend of hers has just completed clinical trial of PSI-7977 and is Hep C free!!!! It is without interferon and her friend has had no side effects. There are some clinical trials on PSI-7977 currently recruiting in several places (So Cal being one). My friend has been accepted into a trial--not started yet--and is very excited. Her clinical nurse has told her that hopefully within five years Hep C treatment will be a simple matter. Of course, I'll only be 82 by then. I think 70 is the cut off for clinical trials--Oh well.
