Now orange slicks just " gotta go now " . Was playing softball yesterday and had

to leave and go home to use the bathroom!!

I definitely have different cravings now than pre-op. The sweet tooth thing

that I have never had is very strange.

I thought the wheat bread would give me more gas?

Should I try rice to bind me up? I saw bananas too. My pharmacy doesn't carry

DEVROM. Is it a script?

Melodie,

Devrom is ordered over the internet. No script. Some people have better

results than others.

he Ezekiel bread is full of fiber, that does the trick...I think it does

increase gas in me, but my stools are firmer when I eat it. It is definately

and aquired taste, you either like it or not...My kids hate it....LOL. More for

me!

Rice causes diarrhea and major gas for me. Most starches do. Have you

tried Benefiber or another fiber supplement to help bulk up stools and absorb

oil? It might be a big help.

Some of it is trial and error. What works for some doesn't or others. I

have few symptoms from krispy Kremes, but others swear they break

plateaus...LOL. My taboo foods are cheddar and sour cream chips, actually most

chips...LOL.

Chili is a food I ONLY eat when I'm going to be alone and at home for 3 days

minimum....LOL.

Weird how my food tastes have changed. A big portion of my food is Taco

salads, cheese burgers, eggs and cheese....I love crab(Hated it pre op...LOL)

and it's weird how i get on kicks where I only want one food, and nothing

else....The family gets tired of cheeseburgers every day...LOL.

Well, when I don't eat correctly, I get pasty stools, very

annoying! and I am actually incontinent of bowels, TMI!

I eat sprouted grain bread daily. It binds the loose stools

together and soaks up the grease. No gas from it, either, if I

resist the raisin bread. I eat the complete protein version.

Other than that, I stay with proteins, and for carbs I eat candy.

No white flour.

Sounds like some flora replacement might help you, too. See Mel's

note to Elle.

I know I am late answering this, Melodie, but, if you haven't gotten the info

yet: Devrom is available online. Did your yogurt cause you diarrhea or did

you stop eating it before your loose stools? I have been having a lot of

trouble with gas lately, and I have gotten a little better about watching what I

eat. Milk (which I was FINALLY able to drink and enjoy) now causes horrendous

gas and bloating. Boo. I have to stay away from sourdough bread, but I can eat

corn tortillas with no trouble (love my tacos)! I think you may have to

eliminate one category at a time until you find what bothers YOU most. Another

thing you could try is the sprouted grain bread to add fiber, or maybe some

Metamucil?

I hope this isn't all just repeated stuff and that you can glean something

helpful here!

Hugs and blessings,

Ann
