I still think you should be checked for food poisoning bacteria, as I had similar problems that went undiagnosed for months. This was years before my GR-DS. The other thing you could be checked for would be parasites? I sorry I can't take this burden away for you. Did they check for these while you were in the hospital? My best hugs for you, dear Elle. My first thought when she described her symptoms, when she was first sick, was that she may have had food poisoning, not the flu. Thank you for taking care of " our " girl! Guest guest Posted May 8, 2004 Report Share Posted May 8, 2004 I'm unclear if they checked Elle for the parasites (this is Gene again, Elle's hubby) they certainly took enough blood, stool and urine samples to do that. Monday, we try for CAT scan and some other tests. Hopefully all the others will be in by then.
