Guest guest
- Your doctor NEVER should have taken you off the oxycontin without tapering your dosage!!!!! I'm sure you went through hell with the withdrawl, but that still doesn't make me think that you were addicted. I guess yes, that many people would call it addiction, and maybe your body was addicted, I'm no doctor, but in my head, oxycontin is just like any other med that you have to come off of that you've been on for a long time. I was on only 10 mg of Prednisone (which is a VERY low dose) for only 3 years, and I had to taper off one mg at a time! I'm so sorry you went through what you did when you came off the oxycontin though... that must have been awful. Sending love, hugs, and good energy your way, in Iowa
Guest guest
: You are so right about needing to be tapered off medications. Even with anti-depressants, it says on the bottles to not come off it cold turkey but to taper off.
