Guest guest
here is sending good thoughs that all gose the way you wish take care amber OT - need a few prayers! Ray will be interviewing for the Battalion Chief's position at the Fire Department at 9:15 this morning.......if he gets it, he goes back to those 24 on and 24 off shifts and a 72 hour work week as opposed to home by 4 every day and a 56 hour work week. BUT the pay is $1500 more a month and it is somethng he really wants to do until he retires, being out on the floor, going out on calls, and just being a firefighter again instead of working as the Training Officer means a lot to him, so those of you who pray.....pray that Gods will be done. Yes, Ray wants the job, but he also wants the time at home with us, and THAT is priceless! We know that if we put this in Gods hands, He will show us the way.........and His will will be done. Love to you all.... Cindee ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guest guest
We don't know when the official word will come down and the new Battalion Chief announced, but as always, this is in Gods hands and not ours! If he gets it, the extra $1500 a month will be wonderful, but he will be gone 24 hours a day 3- 4 days a week. If he stays where he is, he makes less money, but he is home holidays and weekends and by 4 everynight except one a week. So, either way, we will be happy if he gets it (for the $$) and happy if he doesn't (for the priceless time together!) MAY GODS WILL BE DONE! Whatever the outcome, we will be thrilled just to go back to a semi normal life again (Ray has been doing both the BC's position as well as Training Officer for months!) Thank you for your prayers Kristy, they mean the world to us both! Cindee > All my fingers are crossed Cindee!! Guest guest
Bless you Tracey and it is never too late for prayers!!! The decision has not yet been made yet so we are just praying that God will work on the heart and mind of the inviewer and that he will show Him the best man for the job! Regardless of whether it is Ray or not, we are happy to have what we have and Ray adores his job now, so if he gets this position the only plus is the extra $$$ - otherwise, he would rather stay right where he is until retirement! We should be hearing something soon, will let you know when we do! Thanks and don't stop praying!
