Guest guest
I of course had the hardest to treat, needing the longest treatment kind of Hep C. It has been a long, long road and I still have to stay connected to my Dr's, who are amazing. My liver is something that will have to been checked every 6 months. But compared to this, that is nothing. I did not do treatment well, I was sick most of the year. I had a wonderful support system that I could not have gone through this without. I lost my hair, and am hoping it grows back, but I have gotten pretty good at wearing hats. I have been undetectable since week 8 or 4 I can't remember. My Dr say's I only have a 12% chance of the virus coming back. When I started this journey 7 years ago it was a 30% chance of a cure. I still feel sick, interferon is tough no matter where you are in treatment. But I am looking forward to ending this and having more energy. Life without fatigue, how wonderful, and maybe with hair
