Guest guest
Thanks for everyone's responses. I raised the question because I ran out of my particular brand of Gingko and used an " off brand " (local pharmacy). Freddie was out of it with in 24 hours. He was foggy and unable to focus. He was back to being stubborn and non cooperative at school. As soon as I got him back on his regular brand he was back to himself in 12 hours. I just wanted to see if Freddie's response was similar to anyone else. I know some folks are rolling their eyes right now. But I am sure it is like the way some kids respond the gluten or sugar. What makes one child " off " may not affect another. We have yet to try removing him from the Gingko all together. I'm not going backwards with this kid so I doubt it will happen say for maybe surgery. Even then I am going to make sure the doctor pays close attention to his attention span, response time and over all mental well being. Fortunately our pediatrician is Asian and gets the whole Ginkgo thing. He's still on the fence about vaccines though. I'm working on that one with him....;-) Thanks all!!!! nna Mommy to Freddie 6 yrs Full Inclusion Kindy Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God!
