I did, when I first went back into the gym. It cost me $99 for three

sessions. He was stupid. I knew more than he did.

Depends. Are you a newbie to lifting? Do you need extra motivation

like someone screaming at you in the gym? Do you need someone to

count your reps/sets for you?

Most PT's don't endorse BFL. They endorse their own workouts or the

workout programs from their gym.

Doesn't mean he knows what he's doing. Check into the references.

Just because he's ripped and shredded doesn't mean you will be too.

Is he going to make your meals for you? Is he your own personal food

police? My husband is ripped and shredded. His comp is June 1. He

knows jack crap about nutrition. He eats what I fix him. LMAO He'd

cheat if I didn't take his ATM card out of his wallet.

Good luck with your decision. I don't think you should have to buy

anyone's supplements. That's like saying, you won't success unless

you use my stuff. Hog wash. You can be a success without them.

Besides, your body likes whole foods better. It takes more energy to

digest whole foods than it does a MRP or PP.

And Hugh thinks he has it bad with me watching what he eats and

strongly suggesting that he do his weight training. He always does

his cardio, but sometimes has to be gently nudged to do the weights.

He actually does pretty well on his own with the nutrition other than

the Meatball Sub last week from Subway.

Anywhere from $50-100 per hour here in CA. Less if you buy a package

deal (usually 10 sessions).

> Are they worth it?

Sometimes. If you are totally new and know nothing about the gym

equipment, they are useful to show you the proper form.

Most promote their own program.

A lot of guys who win BB contests have a genetic affinity for muscle-

building. Often they become ripped without really knowing how they

got there. ;) Case in point, the guys you see throwing around the

weights in the gym who have awesome bods... they get like that in

SPITE of how they workout.

> BUT.. I mentioned the BFL thing I wanted to do, and he said great

I rest my case. Pick one or the other. BFL is proven to work tens

of thousands of times over. Unless you plan to hire this guy to

train you every time you go to the gym, you are probably better off

with BFL because it gives you the tools to make BFL a part of your

life without a lot of complicated stuff.

him.

Again, pick one or the other. If you try to combine two programs,

then you can't fairly assess which program works/fails.

Do you want to date him or get trained by him? Because if you want

to date him, you better not hire him to train you. Just ask him out

instead. ;)
