Guest guest
Hi , My practioner thinks the reactions are an indicator of how severe the allergy is/was. The reactions can last anywhere from a minute or 2 to an hour and they are very frightening. So far we have treated Egg/Chicken, Calcium, Milk, Cheese, Casein, Vitamin B, Biotin,Vitamin C, Sugar and Grains. My practitioner believes that the gluten/casein intolerance can be treated with NAET. My son was gf/cf for several years but for the past 2 years he has been using Creon with gluten and dairy with out any problems. I think I am going to hold off on any more treatments for now and see if the reactions diminish/disappear. Pat You wrote: <Pat, Wow, what does the NAET practitioner say about the reactions? How long do they last? Have you treated mainly food items so far? Which ones? Did the treatments hold? Do you consider the known allergens avoidable for at least a while. How does he react if he gets the allergens? Does the practitioner treat one item at a time? Do the reactions occur right away in the practitioners office? Do you have your child on the gfcf diet? If you've had these reactions when treating for wheat and dairy its iikely the opioid effect rather than a true allergy. If the reaction to treatment appears worse than the reaction to the allergen and/or you feel you can avoid the allergens for a while, I would hold off. If its wheat and dairy, I'd start the gfcf diet if you haven't already. (www.gfcf.com for info). I would also check any medication or supplements to see if they contain the offending substances.
