Guest guest
I means that it has been through the clinical trials, and now the FDA is considering it for use to market. Hope that helps. Guest guest
Can anyone tell me if I failed with the initial treatment if I can get away with the 6 month treatment with the new drugs or have to do 11 months again because I was a non responder? No one ever seems to answer my questions????? Guest guest
, I believe you would have to do the 11 months because you were a non responder. But then again, I am not a doctor and so this is a guess at best. But I know with me, I always had to go the full course. But girlfriend with these new drugs I think you will win the battle this time. Guest guest
My understanding is that if the virus clears at week 4 and week 12, you only have to do 6 months, but if not you do the full deal. It might depend on where you are doing your treatment but that is what my hepatologist says. > > > > Subject: Fw: PSI-938 Receives Fast Track Designation from the FDA for the Treatment of... -- PRINCETON, N.J., Aug. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- > To: " Hepatitis_C_Central " <Hepatitis_C_Central > > Date: Wednesday, September 7, 2011, 7:29 PM > > > Â > > > > > > This is the link to read about new treatment without interferon > Â > SuziQ > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > > > > > > Â > Â > > Â > > > > > > Â > > Â > Â > > > > Â > Â > > Â > Click the following to access the sent link: > > Â > Â > > Â > > > > > PSI-938 Receives Fast Track Designation from the FDA for the Treatment of... -- PRINCETON, N.J., Aug. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --* > > Â > Â > Â > > Â > > Â > > > > > Â > > > > Â > > > > > Â > > > > Â > Â > > > > > > Â > Â > > Â > Â > > Â > *This article can also be accessed if you copy and paste the entire address below into your web browser. > http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/psi-938-receives-fast-track-designation-\ from-the-fda-for-the-treatment-of-chronic-hepatitis-c-infection-128304453.html >
