Guest guest
Wow...it is weird to hear all of you talk about the names your Nada calls you. I wish I had a dollar for all the times Nada called me an " ungrateful bi%#h. " And selfish was thrown in there a lot too. Hmmm, I suppose it was rather ungrateful of me to try and protect myself from her rages, lol! My Nada used to always yell, " Do you treat your teachers like you treat me? " I really didn't think I was treating her poorly. I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs, " Of course I don't treat my teachers the same as you! They are NICE to me and care about me. They don't fly off the handle and rage like you do. " School was my haven. Yeah, there are a few unpleasant memories, but school was where I escaped from Nada. I think Nada's sex life was the pits. She has always acted grossed out by sex and never had anything nice to say about the male anatomy. She and step dad slept apart for years before their divorice. This is an area that I never share with Nada. I am sure it would just add more fuel to her fire- that I actually enjoy a healthy sexual relationship with my spouse of 17 years. She would probably then call me a slut! I love the idea of a BPD comedy routine. I think humor can get us all through a lot in our lives. How about this... Q. How many Nada's does it take to change a lightbulb? A. Five nada's and one KO One Nada to call the lighbulb ungrateful, One Nada to dust the lightbulb every 5 seconds (OCD), One Nada to rage loud enough that the lightbulb shatters, One Nada to tell the lightbulb, " It's all about me! " One Nada to rave that the light is good (on) and then bad (off) One KO to actually change the damn bulb! Okay- I just made that up and it gave me the chuckles! Di.
