Oh, poor Frecs:

Because you spoke about balance in your posting, that reminded me to get out my

balance board. I stand on it with my sneakers and do a gentle movement exercise

that I saw up on youtube.

Thankfully I have no balance problems. My husband, because he has neuropathy as

well as other things going on, sometimes has balance problems. The sad thing is

that sometimes people will think a person is drunk while they actually might

have MS or something similar.

We have to educate people about this.

Hope you feel better soon and hope this macro thing helps you.

As far as spoilage, why not try this. Wash and put some bleach in ALL your

sprouters. Rinse well (Maybe you've tried this, I don't know), but if you

haven't, give it a whirl.

Let them air dry. Then try sprouting and when you give them their daily drink,

MAKE SURE THEY ARE COMPLETELY DRAINED.

Now you might be doing this all along, but just in case you haven't at least

it's a shot.

Melody

mostly the diet. For some reason, I'm finding this one of the more difficult

diet adjustments I've ever experienced. I'm sure I'll adjust to at least a close

proximity to a " healing phase " of Macro...it's just a sharper learning curve

than I expected.

Sproutpeople's " alfalfa mixes " and the Hot2 and they had huge non-sproutage and

what did sprout spoiled before they amounted to anything. Then, I did garbanzos,

adzukis, and mungbean (all these are being sprouted in the three-tier sprout

garden) and both the garbanzos and adzukis spoiled rapidly. The mungs are okay

for now. I think the problem with the mixes I got from Sproutpeople is that I

purchased these two years ago...possibly last year but I'm pretty sure the year

before--last year was just a blur of illness--so I think they have mostly gone

to the darkside due to my fault not Sproutpeoples. It's just frustrating as

H-E-double-toothpicks to have stuff spoiling on me or not sprouting when I

really needs sprouts.

now it's ALL ABOUT BALANCE because my balance sucks...

Balance is something we take for granted until we don't have it. And, people are

so quick to pass judgements about others. That balance board is great -- they

have them at the gym in fact. Sometimes, I think I should make a shirt that

reads: " You think this is bad, you should have seen me 4 months ago! " hehehehe

I haven't tried that with the sprout garden, thanks for the suggestion. I also

do try to make sure they drain well but I suspect that that is part of the

problem. Did I mention that patience is not one of my virtues? ;)

Tina--who spent 3 hours mowing the lawn and now can't feel her body--but, praise

God I was ABLE to mow the lawn!
