Dear Group,

Hypothyroidism is fairly common, especially in women. I have had

subclinical hypothyroidsm for about 10 years--decades after I was

diagnosed with EN. I did find an interesting connection though:

<<Severe hypothyroidism secondary to exogenous intake of iodide has

been also described in patients with erythema nodosum treated with

potassium iodide.>>

So if you take or have taken SSKI for EN, you should have your thyroid

tested.

Love,
