Subject:Re: Question: Why does EN usually attack the shins?

Hi ,

I was wondering after reading this question and answer- do you think

that massage would help?

Many Thanks

*******

I have wondered that myself, but my experience shows that massage is

the worse thing I can do with my EN.

The EN lumps are composed of " immune cell clusters " and these immune

cells, in my own experience, seem to lay dormant while in remission

and over-react when they get " excited " . They get get excited by being

bumped or handles too roughly. In my case, that means I can't massage

the area that gets EN.

I have gone for Shiatsu massage and had to tell the therapist not to

massage the lower legs. I only get EN in the left leg, but I wouldn't

take the risk of messing with the other leg.

Of course, I imagine that for someone else, who hasn't flared up as

many times as I (probably 100 by now) massage might be good. You just

have to try and see how it works for you. Good luck

Love,
