Guest guest
Thanks for all of your great posts on weight. For myself, I had noticed that " at my peak fitness potential " , with minimal body fat. I indeed had an occasional flare up. However, the more body fat that I have on me (like now) I seem to get larger nodules and more frequent eposides. There must be an overall corralation there. Mentally and Physically. Guest guest
Dear AJ, The " fat theory " is one possability, but there is another one, and that is that the size and frequency of nodules is correlated to the number of flares one has experienced. That is how it seems with me, as I have not gotten appreciably heavier in 30 yrs. Now to " test " your theory, you need to get back to the weight you used to be, as well as the low BMI [body mass index]. If you start to get smaller nodules and have flares less frequently, you can hypothesise that the weight was a factor, and that will encourage all overweight [and under-fit] members to get healthier by working out. :-) Love,
