Guest guest
Dear and Group, Sorry you are still haivng EN problems and that the meds are not helping much, . I know you already tried Pred., and now Colchicine right? Also you stated you had no other disorders. So looks like we are back to square one--a place we often wind up, unfortunately. I don't know how much time you are able to rest, but if you are forcing yourself to work and be up, you may be doing yourself a disservice. In my own thinking, [and I never read this], but when EN occurs in places other than the shins, it seems to be in a more " out of control " state. I remember our member had a case similar to yours. She was finally diagnosed with arthritis and allergies. Of all things the allergy meds put her into remission, which was wonderful. But it didn't last forever, as she did as of her last posting have another flare up. Still months of remission were quite a change from her many months of EN. I encourage you to read the following list and see if you can think of anything that might be triggering the EN. Guest guest
Hi .. Not sure how a drug ends up on your list, but you may wish to consider adding something called "fosfomycin tromethamine".. brand name MONUROL, used to treat urinary tract infections. My doctors seem to think that is what triggered my most recent flare up which started on Aug 20 exactly one week after taking the med. Hhhhmmm... looks suspicious alright. Good health,Kari.
