I know I have a hyper reflexive bladder. that was diagnosed a while ago. But it was only a problem in winter. Now in the hottest of hot days. I'm needing to go to the toilet quite suddenly, and quite urgently. The urine will just start to fall out when that happens. And there seems to be no muscles that work to hold it in. :-( I'd estimate about a 300mls outflow, once i get to the toilet. It's driving me nuts! I don't have any parethis / reduced sensation around my buttocks or anal area to alert to a nerve involvement. But i'm still wondering. What do you think? Shaz. Guest guest
Hi Sharon I have had similar problems in the past and was diagnosed with Chronic Interstitial Cystitis. My case is mild and seems to worsen when my life is stressful. You might want to take a peak at CIC to see if it applies to you. Have you tried Ditropan (Oxybutynin chloride) for bladder spasms? It is a drug that should be helpful with hyper reflexive bladder. We have a commercial here in the states on the television about a version of Ditropan and someone sings " gotta go gotta go gotta go right now " . I hope you are feeling much better today! Infections, on top of everything else we put up with, often seem to take their own sweet time clearing up. -- Lyndi
