Guest guest
I think if I didn’t have to deal with the harsh cold winters and high humidity summers I’d be in good shape. But I love where we live, 5 minutes away from the water, lots of farming in our area. I just learned to deal with it and listen to my body. There are some on here that have moved to different states due to their asthma, like for example with Madeline, they took a family trip to an area near the water and she was breathing so much better. Good luck to you with this. Cindi, no worries about me what doesn’t kill me can only make me stronger. Everyone take good care of yourselves. If you are looking for hot temps because you cannot take the cold, then some parts of Arizona are good...such as Phoenix and Tucson. The flipside of that is that there is too much pollution in both cities, especially the greater Phoenix area...ozone, particulates, and general pollution. I cannot tolerate the pollution there with my asthma...it was leading to COPD. We do indeed live out in the country but, it is in the higher desert with elevation of 4300. Hot summers, but very brutal cold winters here. I am doing just ok with my asthma....much better than when I lived in Phoenix, but not as good as the brief 7 year stay in Mississippi (very high humidity there). I think a lot of my problems here is that where we live farming is big, and I am allergic to alfalfa, and that seems to be a common produce here. Everyone is different with their own asthma...as Mike Mcbride I think said in a response ( I hope that is what he wrote)...different triggers, different medicines, different ways the body deals with it. SO many factors...I am making this answer too long...very tired and sore, but I wanted to respond!! Hugs to all, and Madeline and Terry get better please!!!
