Guest guest
My first instinct was to say completely ignore it and hope the problem extinguishes itself. But that's not right because our kids do things because they're experiencing feeling unwell in their bodies. Maybe you could test for reflux. Give him a Tums or two and see if the problem improves. Or speak to a sensory OT for some things you might do your son, to get his needs met, and so maybe can stop this. Guest guest
Is this a new "talent" he just discovered? If it is, then it may just be a phase as he enjoys his new skill. I was mortified a few weeks ago as my daughter started "spitting" all the time! Drove me nuts! You would hear her doing it all day long. She no longer does this since she has learned to burp! But thankfully that is no longer amusing her. Of course I wish my son would blow raspberries--he still can't figure that out. Hope it gets better! -------------- Original message -------------- This may sound cute to some...but it gets a little tiresome when it happens incessently...all...day....long. My 3.5 yr old is constantly blowing rasberies. He also is drueling a lot in the past 2 months. Not sure why. Yeast is under control with Threelac and we're on OLE among a dozen other supplements. Is this a phase?...or is there something going on to promote this behavior? As for teeth, I cannot really get a good look to see if he is teething...are ther any teething issues at 3.5 years?thanx, karen
Guest guest
My daughter use to do the same thing..I would say she did it for like 2 months and then she just stopped. I notice she does things obsessively but grows out of them within a month or two. So perhaps it is just a phase...But daughter was also drooling ..My mother also thought maybe her teeth had something to do with it..But I think all her teeth were already in. Luckily it all just stopped. Hope the same happens for you!Kim wrote: My first instinct was to say completely ignore itand hope the problem extinguishes itself.
