That really nice looking, Melody. How long will that much sprouts last you?

Sorry, we don't do facebook, but you can tell you friends from me that they

are the crazy ones.

Here is how my sprouts look after using my

Sprout Cooling System

Hi everyone, I just had to share this with you all. After losing 4 trays of

sprouts 4 or so days ago, I had no sprouts for all that time. It was 90

outside and I began using my Sprout Cooling System.

Well, the darn thing worked WONDERFULLY. I didn't use the fan because it was

blowing hot air all over my sprouts. I have no AC in my house so I had to do

something or else I would have had to refrigerate all my trays and I had no

guarantee that they would have sprouted inside my fridge.

So, using the styrofoam box that the Kansas City Steaks came in, and by

putting cold keepers (out of my freezer) all around the trays (for 4

straight days), and just rinsing and draining every 12 hours), well they

sprouted BEAUTIFULLY.

Always stayed nice and cool and right now they are on my shelves greening

up. Now it happens to be a beautiful breezy day in Brooklyn so luckily the

timing is just right.

If it was 95 outside I would be putting cold keeps UNDERNEATH each tray on

the shelf as they green up. But it's nice and cool here today so......

Take a look.

And if any of you are on facebook, I posted this video on my facebook page,

so leave a nice comment. I want my other facebook buddies to not think I'm

crazy for sprouting my food. They roll their eyes at me all the time. They

are not into sprouting and that's fine but I'd like them to know that

someone thinks I did a good thing by making this cooling system.

Thanks much

Sproutingly,

Melody

Beverly,

You ask how long these 5 trays of sprouts will last me. About one week. I eat

them at each meal. I love the ease, the color and the tase (in salads). There is

nothing more colorful than a sprout salad. I mean, just thinking about all those

magnificent enzymes and clorophyll going throughout my body and helping my

immune system, well I'll be doing this the rest of my life.

lol

That's cool you have room to grow so much at a time.

Hi Beverly

I can grow up to 6 trays of sprouts on only two shelves (greening up I mean).

But if I am just growing them I stack them up on each other and that uses no

room whatsoever. I now do this in my styrofoam cooler and will be doing this

during the hot weather,.

Thank god they came out just fine.

No more experimenting. This works and I'm sticking to using my home made

cooler.
