Guest guest
Hi all, One of my daughter's obsessions is getting a sunburn. She started this when we went to Florida for March break, and now that the weather is getting warmer here in Quebec, she has starting asking me several times a day whether she should put on sunscreen. The time for sunscreen will come soon, but I don't worry about it just yet, especially since she is not spending too much time outside. When we were in Florida, I could never put enough sunscreen on, she kept telling me I missed a spot and would re-apply it in various areas. SHe wanted it under her arms and feet. She would go outside holding her hat, and one day she walked around with her head down for a while because we had gone out " too soon and the sunscreen wasn't working yet " . I want to work on this quickly before it gets out of hand for the summer. Any suggestions on how to work on this? It's not like I can force her outside in the sun without sunscreen! I already told her that we would lay out the sunscreen rules and how it will be safe to go outside, and then she would not be allowed to ask me about it. Thanks!
