LIVER DISEASES: UPDATE 2012

For those of you who live in or near the Los Angeles area, there is going to be a Liver Diseases Update 2012 at UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles) JAMES WEST ALUMNI CENTER, Los Angeles. (This is West LA area).

A FREE educational seminar for the community sponsored by UCLA's Pfleger Liver Institute so that patients, families and everyone interested can have the opportunity to obtain information on hepatitis and other liver diseases from prominent and respected specialists and it's FREE!!!

8:35-9:05 AM – Dr. Sammy Saab, MD, MPH, AGAF / Doctor Saab will speak on LIVER FUNCTIONS

9:10-9:40 AM – Dr. Francisco Durezo, MD, FACP / Doctor Durezo will speak on FATTY LIVER

9:45-10:15AM – Dr. Han, MD, AGAF / Doctor Han will speak on VIRAL HEPATITIS

10:20-10:35 – Intermission

10:40-11:10AM – Dr. Saeed Sadghi, MD / Dr. Sadghi will speak on LIVER CANCER

11:15-11:45AM – Dr. Fady Kaldas, MD / Dr. Kaldas will speak on LIVER TRANSPLANTATION

11:50-12:00PM – Closing Comments

Personal note regarding speakers: These doctors are all Professors of Medicine and Surgery. They are each specialists in their field yet they all come together as a team in the field of liver diseases and liver transplantation. (You can view each online to see all their achievements in their specialized fields).

Liver diseases effect so many people's lives. Many people are suffering from liver diseases and many of these diseases can and will be brought on by Hepatitis viruses.
