I just made the young coconut kefir for the first time. I'm not sure

if it's right or not, so before I give it to I just wanted to

double check with anyone who has done this before...after the 36+

hours that I allowed it to ferment, there was white stuff (culture?)

on the bottom of the jar. and even though I attempted to strain it

through part of my juicer before putting it in the jar, I still

managed to get little bits of the coconut in there. Is it okay to

give it to him with those in there?

Thanks!

I strain prior to fermenting. The white at the bottom after

fermenting are called dregs. Lots of B vitamins. Fine to

consume. Gentle shake if you want to mix it up better.

when I make it, there's always some sediment at the bottom. I shake it up before I give it to him.
