Guest guest
wonderful book on HEALING HEPATITIS C; by QINGCAI ZHANG; please also see http://www.sinomedresearch.org/ modern and traditional chinese medicine; this is my option of choice and i am feeling stronger, more rested, more energy in just 3 weeks;you can order the herbal formulas also; my thoughts: why try the hardest way first? start with easiest way then work to harder way; I was diagnosed in 2009 but only had a viral load of 40,000. Since then all levels have been low with one spike to 250,000 two years ago. Now I just got word it's up to 759,630. I was hoping to wait until the non-interferon based drugs came out. My family doctor has been handling the monitoring but now wants me to go back to the Gastro-enterologist. Can I expect him to insist I start treatment? My liver numbers are only slightly off and the late 2009 liver biopsy showed no problems. Just wondering what the action levels were for others in the group. thanks,Ron
Guest guest
Hey Ron,I was diagnosed in 2007 , kinda the same as u, no real issues, low viral load, no liver scarring, normal ALTs feeling great. Have spent the last 5 years taking care of myself and yesterday my Gastro Dr informed me that because of my good health he wants me to start treatment in Nov. This because he feels will be easier on me because I am healthy. I too wanted to wait for No Interferon treatment... It sucks... Am gonna wait on my new numbers from yesterdays check up before I decide. am scared to death!TondaSent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerrySender: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Mon, 13 Aug 2012 22:47:16 -0000To: <Hepatitis_C_Central >ReplyTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Subject: 759,630 I was diagnosed in 2009 but only had a viral load of 40,000.Since then all levels have been low with one spike to 250,000 two years ago. Guest guest
They are suggesting that I do mine now because the biopsy showed almost to stage 4 and my viral load in 7 million+. I wanted to wait for the new drug too. But I am off to the docs today to get my meds as a matter of fact. Will start tonight or tomorrow morning. Good luck to you...Tricia I was diagnosed in 2009 but only had a viral load of 40,000. Since then all levels have been low with one spike to 250,000 two years ago. Guest guest
Good Luck Tonda! dont let anyone force you into treatment if you are not ready to do it.. but I would have to agree that is has to be easier when youre not as ill but then again, when you feel so crummy, a little more isnt that big of a deal.. I was stage 3-4 when I did treatment 10 years ago and it was definately doable.. and I was successful thank the good Lord! hugs, jax 759,630 I was diagnosed in 2009 but only had a viral load of 40,000.
