wrong diagnosis?

Mt Dr. recently diagnosed me with Erythema Nodosum. Looking at the

photos and reading about the disorder, I'm not sure it's what I

have. Although the color of my bumps look similar, I only really

have two bumps..one on each calf, on the outside of my leg. They are

bigger than the ones I see in most of the photos (2-3 inches across)

and feel hard and flat when I push on them...and tender to the

touch. They don't stick out. My shins are tender, too, but no

nodules. The one on my right leg is larger and causes this lower leg

and ankle to swell. Is there any way to make a " for sure " diagnosis

and does my description sound like it could be Erythema Nodosum? Are

there other things that mimic this? Thanks!
