Guest guest
CPT 1100F is "Patient screened for fall risk...". I bet it is not a reimbursable code. Sounds more like ortho covering their butts. fall risk HII have all of a sudden been getting more pieces of paper from the local hospital owned ortho practice about "this patient is at risk for falls" signed and sent to meSometimes they live in nursing homes( the patients not the orhto practice) and have been darn well assessed for fall before orhto met them... today I see that the note says "She was found to be at risk with the code being 1100F and the approprite action was taken"IS this some way for ortho to bill for more money? It is very wasteful to fax me these things- one was on someone I have never seen ,one as I say was assessed alot better alot earlier by the facility that takes care of her etc etcWHy can't everyone just be perfect in a perfect system and do things perfectly without being so ...wasteful and.... dumb!-- If you are a patient please allow up to 12 hours for a reply by email/please note the new email address.Remember that e-mail may not be entirely secure/ MD ph fax
