*** , I don't really know what they think. Its apparent they aren't

suffering from amnesia. At the same time my own mother showed up at the house on

my birthday to give me a card. Gave a feeble apology on one of the words she

called me a few months before. Then wanted to use my phone for long distance.

She left, has moved & hasn't sent me her address or been in any contact since

she moved.

I say feeble apology because when I told her the whole sentence of names she

called me, I could see in her eyes that she wasn't admitting to those. She

feigned not remembering all of that. I said " Well then perhaps thats why you

denied trying to kill me 3 times, you forgot you had. " You should have seen the

pissed off look she gave me. I was hoping that she would admit it or even use

the excuse that she didn't remember. I offered her a valid reason for her

denial. She almost left in a huff. Too bad for me she didn't. she didn't show

her butt. She had an ulterior motive of course & so she couldn't allow herself

to misbehave. Perhaps it is the same with your mother?

That's my oldest niece's b-day and she's just about the cutest thing

on the planet next to my son (and they do look the most alike of the

cousins though he just turned 6mos yesterday and she's turning

6years).

Hope your upcoming year is nada free and don't cash that

check...total queen trying to buy your love again. I've not cashed a

check from nada in two years though she did put a sizable deposit

into my son's savaings acct when he was first born. I didn't know it

until after the fact, but don't much care. I just don't accept stuff

from here.
