You seem to have identified what your issues are. Look for books on interpersonal skills, communication skills and managing emotions. I recommend books that also have exercises or an accompanying workbook. With behavior changes, it isn't enough to just intellectually identify the problem. It takes practice to make the behavior changes. It was helpful to me when I finally understood that just because someone said or did something that reminded me of nada, their intent was probably not the same, and that they were also unaware of how they were affecting me emotionally.
