Hello ,

I've only been diagnosed with EN since Aug of this year so I'm not experienced with any of the medications but I did go to WebMD to see what kind of med that was. Here's the link so you can read about it. There was different variety of that med I clicked on the third one down. You may know better which one if that isn't the right one. I hope that helps a little. I go to that site when I'm in question on what med's are for or their side affects.

Hi all

I’ve been on Colchicine since 1987

and had few problems

It was prescribed to me for Bechets (with

regular flare ups including EN)

EN been pretty tolerable ove the years.

Original dosage was 1 to 2 times 500

micrograms per day dependent on condition – i.e. 1 as a maintainance dose

and then upped to 2 duirng a flare-up ).

Recently dropped the dosage down to 1 tablet very 2 days.

Having 3 monthly blood tests and for as

consultant “restaging” my condition after some Liver functions

showed higher than normal. (Not definite it was drugs as was leading a pretty

unhealthy commuter lifestyle living on coffee and vending machine junk food).
