Hi there fellow sprouter.

Welcome to our sprouting universe.

I only sprout brassica (alfalfa, broccoli, radish) and I sprout feugreek and

mung beans.

I have had major health issues over the years. I'm diabetic and I love the way

sprouting has impacted my health (in a most positive way).

Do you do videos? I make them and I have my own youtube channel. After my

signature you'll see a link to my sprout channel on youtube.

Again, welcome!!!

Melody

Hi, I'm new to sprouting but so far loving, loving, loving it. What a great way

to fill enhance meals from my organic garden (also new to growing veggies and

winter gardening) and fill in between the old and new. I have chronic health

issues and I can feel a big difference in my energy and pain levels - yay!!!!!!

I'm happy with the sprouts I've produced so far with the exception of red

cabbage. I get maybe 25% of what I get from the same amounts of broccoli or

kale seeds. A lot of it is the low germination rate but it is also not growing

anywhere as much as the other seeds either. I love the color and taste of them

but I may not bother getting them again.

I didn't get them from Sprout People as I didn't hear about this company/group

until I read a book on sprouting - there's a couple in my area who are gardening

coaches and they sell seeds for sprouting too. I'm not sure who supplies their

seeds but they order them in bulk and then sell them. They're a great couple

and I know they wouldn't knowingly sell an inferior seed - I'll let them know

once I figure out it's not a 'user' issue.

Thanks. Sue

Thanks for the welcome Melody. I've got tons of silly health problems due to

auto-immune - so also pre diabetic. Your reply gives me hope - actually the

doctor today said she can see a shift especially energy. She was a little taken

aback when I said I was now sprouting in addition to organic gardening.

I'll keep you in my prayers and let's get healthy together :-)
