Guest guest
Good Morning , Thanks for a start on the stress search I am going to do today. I have spent one more night trying to sleep only to wake up Several times with my heart pounding and blood rushing so much so that I could hear it in my ears and feel my heart pound through my chest. I am so tired of this. I am usually pretty capable of meditating myself to sleep when I feel stress trying to creep in. But lately after finally setting into sleep if it is not a bathroom run it is the rush of adrenaline the sets me upright in bed from a sound sleep. I know this cannot be good for anyone's health for long. If I find any other information on this I will post the web pages. I know I cannot this much longer with lack of sound sleep all I want to do is sleep. I know that sounds crazy. I find myself wanting to fall asleep at all of hours of the day. Anyway... Have a great day! Love, Dear AJ and Group, I forgot to mention that once I did wake up with a purple --nearly black spot where the red EN lump was. It may have been from a burst vein. I showed it to Steve and that's what he thought. He said it will just reabsorb, and he was right. It was gone in about 2 days. So don't get scared. Yours will most likely fade with time. I'm a fast healter, so it might take a little longer for you. Fear produces the stress hormones we've been talking about. http://www.tiscali.co.uk/reference/encyclopaedia/hutchinson/m0016689.h tml Being in a state of fear is like pumping stress into your system. We need to learn to RELAX. Easier said than done, I know. Love,
Guest guest
Dear , Sorry to hear that you are still having trouble sleeping. I know it's no consolation, but I too have been having trouble getting my usual 9 hours. I think mine is related to menopause. I feel too warm or too cool many times during the night [covers on and covers off all night long] Often I just lay there awake in the dark. However, at least I don't sweat :-) During the day I usually grab an hour of the most restful sleep on the livingroom sofa. Maybe that is why I am not so tired at night. :-/ Do you have any idea why you are having panic attacks at night? Any bad dreams that you can remember? Sometimes that is the key to overcoming them. Hope you have a good peaceful sleep tonight! Love,
Guest guest
I get hot can’t sleep then feel legs too cold can’t sleep. I rarely ever sleep more than 4 hrs without getting up to go to the bathroom no matter when I stop drinking fluids. I take Detrol. I do sweat and I recently read in myositis that when you sweat as in exercise or just heat this raises CPK levels and raised CPK levels increases inflammation. I have been told I am at the change age. Had biopsy of endometrium and the GYN thought that I am post. I was off of methotrexate for two weeks trying to get breast to heal and I started cycles again. I was told that Alpha brain wave intrusion of stage four sleep as in fibromyalgia you wake up not feeling refreshed. I was given flexeril which is a muscle relaxant, pharm it is the same as a tricyclic antidepressant but used in smaller doses than for depression to make muscles relax and promote a more restorative sleep. I get muscle spasms while sleep that at time require me to jump out of bed and stretch. Not just in legs also in hands. I can start to feel when they are coming on as in simple things as reading the morning paper. Quinnine water was recommended then told to mix gatorade with half water. Because I sweat so much. I almost always feel like I am having a sun burn varies in intensity. Now I take two tylenol PM diphyramine in them to help me sleep. I am off of allergy medications. Hang in there your in my thoughts and prayers. ~Jan Re: Deep Purple/Fear and Stress/ Dear , Sorry to hear that you are still having trouble sleeping.
