Guest guest
I am in the process of revamping my almost 6 yr. old daughter's supplement therapy to include natural toxin/metal removers. If anyone has suggestions of the better supplements to help with this, please post. Also, if you know of supplements to NOT use together for this purpose, please post that as well. Any advice or suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Karmen

Guest guest
Zeolite is great but it doesn't removed heavy metals like mercury. You could also check into clay. I personally have never tried ithttp://www.thepetalternative.com/bathingclay.htmlAlso my DAN! has a infer red sauna that removed toxins. It is basically a sauna but it works at a much higher rate. Not hotter just heats from inside out instead of outside in. Foods can also help detox the body; water, raw veggie and fruit juice, beets... check into that. The Top 10: Green leafy vegetables. Eat them raw, throw them into a broth, add them to juices. Their chlorophyll helps swab out environmental toxins (heavy metals, pesticides) and is an all-round liver protector.Lemons. You need to keep the fluids flowing to wash out the body and fresh lemonade is ideal. Its vitamin C - considered the detox vitamin - helps convert toxins into a water - soluble form that?s easily flushed away.Watercress. Put a handful into salads, soups, and sandwiches. The peppery little green leaves have a diuretic effect that helps move things through your system. And cress is rich in minerals too.Garlic. Add it to everything - salads, sauces, spreads. In addition to the bulb's cardio benefits, it activates liver enzymes that help filter out junk.Green tea. This antioxidant-rich brew is one of the healthiest ways to get more fluids into your system. Bonus: It contains catechins, which speed up liver activity.Broccoli sprouts. Get 'em at your health-food store. They pack 20 to 50 times more cancer-fighting, enzyme-stimulating activity into each bite than the grown-up vegetable.Sesame seeds. They're credited with protecting liver cells from the damaging effects of alcohol and other chemicals. For a concentrated form, try tahini, the yummy sesame seed paste that?s a staple of Asian cooking.Cabbage. There are two main types of detoxifying enzymes in the liver; this potent veggie helps activate both of them. Coleslaw, anyone?Psyllium. A plant that?s rich in soluble fiber, like oat bran, but more versatile. It mops up toxins (cholesterol too) and helps clear them out. Stir powdered psyllium into juice to help cleanse your colon, or have psyllium-fortified Bran Buds for breakfast. Fruits, fruits, fruits. They're full of almost all the good things above - vitamin C, fiber, nutritious fluids, and all kinds of antioxidants. Besides, nothing tastes better than a ripe mango, fresh berries, or a perfect pear.My favorite drink for my son is the beet lemonade:1/2 cup biotta beet juice (non dairy lactic acid)1/2 cup of Lemon juice (I use Santa Cruz organic)1 cup of agave nectarin a 1/2 gallon glass jug and fill the rest with filtered water. Shake good and serve. We now use less agave and more beet. If you have picky kids start out with that amount of agave or honey and about 1/4 beet and work your way up. Never miss a thing. Guest guest
Selenium from Brazil nuts or supplements helps remove mercury. It probably works better than the chelation agents for part of the way out of the DNA and brain. Selenium + DMSA or zeolite seems to work well for the whole elimination pathway.I have known that zeolite grabs heavy metals like mercury, lead and cadmium, for the last 50 years, but only started using it on myself last year, because I thought it might grab essential metals, too.Zeolite is great but it doesn't removed heavy metals like mercury. Guest guest
I don't know the brand name, but Bentonites are known for absorbing all kinds of toxins. There should be a composition analysis with it so that you know how clean it is. Bentonite is somewhat similar to kaolin, that is used for severe vomiting, sometimes. It absorbs the toxins from the invading bacteria. You could try Wiki for more details.Hi !So anyone heard of or used this SONNES #7 Bentonite ? and , is this a similar substance to Zeolite ?
