Have you tried the " bedrest " treatment? If you have the time to spare,

you might force yourself to get a few days of bedrest and extra sleep

to see if you can start a remission without resorting to prednisone.

That works for some of us including me. I've had EN for 37 yrs. Welcome!

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have

EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group. The vast

majority of my nodules are in my legs, when I was younger I did have

some in my abdomen and upper arms. Besides the feverish painful lumps,

I experience malaise during flare-ups.

6. List any other health conditions. None.

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness: I've been tried on numerous anti-inflammatories and

plaquanil, but prednisone is all that has ever helped.

9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? 19 years.

10. Do you agree to treat all EN members with respect? Yes.
