Thank you SO much for posting this. I learned this quote many years

ago, from someone who was my mentor in my career. But she did not

mention the source. I use this quote many times myself as it has had

so much significance to me. I am really glad to know where it came

from, so that I can include that information as well.

Hope you are doing well,

Sylvia

Hi Sylvia,

The man himself (Victor l) was an amazing person - a Holocaust

survivor both physically and emotionally, even though he lost so

much (I think his entire family save for his sister died in the

camps). I read " Man's Search for Meaning " in college, before I even

started down the road of my own personal healing. Truly a success

story in overcoming tremendous odds.

Have a good day!

,

I agree. I was aware of Victor l's life story, but didn't know

the quote was his. I think that makes the quotation all the more

meaningful.

This was my HeartQuote for today, and I wanted to share it since it

is so very true when it comes to our healing process:

" There can be no knowledge without emotion. We may be aware of a

truth, yet until we have felt its force, it is not ours. To the

cognition of the brain must be added the experience of the soul. "

-- Arnold (1867-1931)
