Thanks to those who responded to my questions re recovery, post treatment. I guess it is really individual. I'll show my husband your responses.

And Joe, thanks for thinking of me, I don't think I had realized how hard this all was and still is on me as caregiver. I actually also have Hep C but I'm not sure if I can be treated because I also have another liver disease which is autoimmune in nature called Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC), so the treatment may make it worse. But my liver is gettting worse and with the new drug Teleprevir making it 6 months vs a year of treatment the doctor is considering it. I wouldn't be able to pay for it though, so I'm waiting to see if my insurance will cover it - been waiting since Sept. I'm just not sure if I should treat if at the end of the day both my husband and I are worse than we were before going through it.
