Guest guest Posted May 15, 2012 Report Share Posted May 15, 2012 Hello everybody. Just a note to let you all know that my son Marty is in the hospital with pancreatitis and very ill at this time. Part of the problem is he has been throwing up since Feb.and since he cannot talk he cannot tell you he is in pain. I knew he was somewhat ill and gave him anti nausea pills. He can just endure so much pain and has to get really really sick before I do something. In this case he did on Sunday and blood tests showed the pancreas enzymes, white count, liver enzymes were all really elevated. No fever. It was like when his lung collapsed and he had to get lung surgery due to an abscess from aspiration. Didn’t know he was THAT sick until he was THAT sick. But he is a tough guy and been through a lot of very hard things as I have with him. Would appreciate prayer from all those who have faith in God and in prayer when we need help like this. Well must get back to the hospital now, I stay all night with him. My husband and I who care for him take turns staying with him, since he cannot talk. He had a bad seizure night before last. It was awful and if I wouldn’t have been in his room he would not have had help. Well that is about it. Carolyn OR ;o( not too happy right now!
