Hang in there, Charlotte! If you are close to Georgia you can stay here, by

golly. I am already so protective of my fellow Ko's. - jana

Being single, I really have nowhere to go except nadas house

(inland) for shelter--unless I want to force myself to be with

complete strangers during this time. This is terrible. Last time a

hurricane hit, I had a boyfriend with me who served as sortof a

buffer and protected me from nada. Now I don't have anything like

that, and I am completely freaked out. I've got to force myself to

gather emergency supplies and prepare to evacuate, and all I want to

do is just sleep and hide. It's like walking through a thick haze

just to MOVE. Hopefully this post will help. Thanks for listening

guys.

Thanks girl! I made an appointment with my therapist right before I

leave tomorrow morning, to buoy me up.

So sorry, Charlotte! We are in FL & have been on the edge of our

seats for the past month. I have no more fingernails & I haven't had

a single day where I felt I could relax/sleep well. I still have my

entire patio stacked in my living room & dining room. Thank goodness

we have that 3M shielding on the windows or we'd be plywooded up &

living in the dark for the past month! :-) I finally feel like I can

breathe since Ivan is steering away from us, but now I feel bad that

the folks in the Gulf states may have to deal with this. I'll keep

you in my prayers & I hope this thing loses power. Best wishes for

your safety & that of your home.

Oh,

dear.
