Obviously the strep looks like the cause of your EN. I am guessing you

were on meds to wipe out the strep infection. Some of us are never

able to get over strep even though we take meds. Was that the case

with you?

Hoping to discuss this with you and give you some ideas on treatments.

5. Describe your erythema nodosum symptoms or, if you do not have EN,

please explain why you wish to join this group.

I have had this condition for 2 years now and have had numerous tests

done to determine if I have any underlying diseases…they came up

negative which is good I guess, but it leaves me at the point of no

solution? I have been looking online for a support group like this,

because the fact is that this isn't that common and I really want to

talk to someone that feels the same pain as me and hoping maybe they

have some suggestions?

I've had strep only once in my life and it just so happened to be when

I had a flare up on my leg and it was class C strep… which I guess is

not the most common either? And I know it was very painful.

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness:

I took sski several times, it did help reduce the flare ups but the

most horrible aftertaste that I couldn't get rid of and there was a

concern of my thyroid getting affected, because of the sure fact that

iodine can have long-term damage, and my family already has problems

with thyroid. I've also used a steroidal treatment but they came right

back. Which leads me to possible homeopathic medicine?
