Guest guest
I knew about the kelp, sunlight and guggulipid, all of which I take (sunlight in very small doses because I live in the UK LOL) - thanks for the info on the others/ marianne > Natural treatments for hypothyroid include: > > Tyrosine, 500 - 1000 mg > > Kelp > > Sunlight > > Capsaicin > > Ginsengs > > Guggulipid > > Try taking the tyrosine between meals and make sure you're getting iodine > in kelp, and > get some daily sun. > jp >
Guest guest
None of that helps if your thyroid has been surgically or chemically removed, or chemically damaged. It does help if it is just naturally low or sluggish but a lot of underactive thyroid today is because of medical treatment for overactive thyroid. Guest guest
Thanks jp....... daily sun may be difficult here in UK lol but all others are available. Is the daily sun crucial? Think about it - if the organ is still present, and is not decaying, the cells must still be alive. So, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Guest guest
I would love to be able to do that but how can it be done and/or where would you get the info on it? Serita
Guest guest
I don't know how essential the sun would be. You would probably do all right if you did the others. jp Thanks jp....... daily sun may be difficult here in UK lol but all others are available. Is the daily sun crucial? Guest guest
Hi all, I just returned from the Naturopathic conference and found my last post was bounced again. Anyway I send it again and when I have time I will give an update on the conference. By the way one of the speakers was Dr. Young on the Ph miracle. >kingsbry@... writes: >Supplemental iodine can sometimes cause or exacerbate *either* hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism (see below). This is especially true with autoimmune hypothyroidism autoimmune disease. Let us look at the entire subject of autoimmune disease in the light of pleomorphism. " There is no such thing as an autoimmune disease " . These bogus diseases are the mainstay of allopathic therapy. Think about it for a moment, THE BODY ATTACKS ITSELF FOR NO REASON! From our point of view does that make any sense at all? Those that understand pleomorphism know that there are organisms so extremely small and that are very toxic that are NOT recognized by allopathic medicine. Our intelligent bodies, even on a cellular level, mobilize an attack on these toxic organisms, even on our own cells that have been compromised. The body NEVER attacks itself without a good reason. The reason I bring this up on the thyroid issue is the statement above. I have treated Grave's disease, Hashimoto's disease and any other name that you want to use all with the same results. Remember the names of diseases are owned by the allopathic doctors, so be careful about using them. What I, and I hope most on this list, do is promote health in the body and not treat disease. The thyroid need Iodine, as all cells need nutrition, it is the source of the nutrition that needs careful consideration. Many are allergic to the source of the nutrition, not the nutrition itself. Sometimes there is too much nutrition and sometimes there is not enough. Let us keep it simple. I wish I had more time on this subject, alas I am off to the Naturopathic conference and will be back Monday. Talk to you all then.
