Guest guest
Hi Everyone~ I haven't posted in some time. My son, Isaiah is 8 1/2 and has a legal dx of bi-polar and was originally dx'd w/ Asberger's. The Asberger's has really come out in the last couple of years. One thing that we still struggle w/ largely is that Isaiah REFUSES to poop on the toilet. He is still in pull ups. Thank God we are able to get small adult size diapers. He finally will change himself properly, but it is a HUGE fight to sometimes to even get him to change himself. Then he gets a rash etc...We live in WI and where we live, trying to find a good counselor or therapist is darn near impossible. He does well in school, basically saves all the behavior issues for at home. However his routine at school is very helpful in keeping him in line. I'm feeling very troubled by him still being in pull ups, the discipline issues we have him, and just being able to connect w/ him. Anyways, thanks for listening! ~
