Guest guest
Dear , Thanks for sending in your completed questionnaire. I have filed it with our Member Medical Files. You now have full EN Group Privileges. Usually potassium iodide will work quickly, so you may see results soon. Have you had ANY tests to determine what is causing the EN? While you may never discover the cause, it is a good idea to take the basic tests to rule out some of the common causes. I hope you feel better soon! Love, ******* Here is 's Questionnaire: 1. Your name and age: McUmber, age 47 years 2. Your location: Painted Post, NY 3. Your email address: McUmberJA@... 4. Your Yahoo ID: MrsMcU2 5. Describe your Erythema Nodosum symptoms or, if you do not have EN, please explain why you wish to join this group: I have red painful lumps under the skin on my lower legs along with fluid retention (more of a problem with my right leg). 6. List any other health conditions: My left knee was injured from a fall 3 years ago. The fluid retention has given me slightly elevated blood pressure. 7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their effectiveness: Because the doctors did not know or bother to try to find out why my legs were swelling or why the red nodules were there my treatment was a blood pressure/fluid reducer medication. The problem with this is the fluid retention just kept getting worse. I have recently on my own started taking Bromelain for the inflammation in my legs with some results and Potassium Iodide for the EN. I have not taken this long enough too see much result. And my husband rubs my legs to help the fluid move. And I wrap my legs in ace bandages. 8. When did you first get Erythema Nodosum? Three years ago. 9. How long have you had Erythema Nodosum? Three years 10. Do you agree to treat all EN members with respect? YES 11. Do you agree to post NO advertisements for any products or services? YES 12. How did you find this Group? (Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves Search, referral from another group or person, etc.) I found you through the WebMD site.
