Guest guest
Sounds like you are doing an amazing job! Your daughter is very young so certainly she may become verbal. We use ABA methodology and require my daughter to mand (request) items she wants. My daughter is non-verbal and we use sign to communicate. I also used it with my 2 "typical" kids and it was great for the time that they had a lot to say but weren't able to say it. Are you using a DAN dr. to guide you with supplements and diet? That has been helpful for us. There are things I wouldn't have known without the bloodwork. As far as meals go - for the most part I only cook gfcf. I try to keep it simple. Like last night was tacos - I just cook the ground beef and add a jar of taco sauce from Trader Joe's, serve with refried beans, shredded lettuce, and Tofutti sour cream. I do most of my shopping at Natural Foods Warehouse and Trader Joe's. I use the health food section at Kroger when in a rush (they also have great deals in a certain area and I stock up). I buy organic produce from Local Food Stop (www.localfoodstop.com). This helps me plan my meals around the produce of the week. I have not used this company but have heard great things about www.gfmeals.com . I have a promo code of NEW and if you use that at checkout you get 10% off. The owner has a son with ADHD and she is really amazing. Would be great to use if going on vacation as well.
