Guest guest
I am 6 mos out and seeing 3-8 dly. I am in the office every day but Tues/Wed are 1/2 days since I have 3 other moonlighting jobs to keep cash flow going. I forward my phone during those times and take calls inbetween when I can, since I am usually by a computer where I can look at my schedule etc.....Despite my low numbers I am doing OK. My break even is 2 patients/d, so I am starting to get in the "black", and I have many new patients calling. The most effective place to get new patients for me (it is a saturated area) has been to network with the local optometrist, chiropractor, neuropsychologist and some counselors in the area. They are always sending people my way. I regularly go to lunch or just touch base with them and continue to get more referrals. When I saw that a local pediatrician was giving a talk for anyone in the community at our library, I went and introduced myself. She has sent me several patients now. I think making the effort to meet a lot of people is well worth it. Hope that helps.
