PROBLEM SOLVED

5. Read in Poor Light

"There is no harm whatsoever in reading in dim light," says Cykiert, an ophthalmologist and a professor of ophthalmology at New York University Medical Center. "It's a total misconception. Reading in dim light is like sniffing hard to smell a faint odor."

Worst Case: You'll get tired, because you're struggling to see instead of reading comfortably, says Cykiert.
